5 Signs Your Password Manager Isn't Doing Its Job
Having a password manager installed isn't the same as actually being protected by one. Here's how to tell the difference.

Five signs it's not pulling its weight: you still reuse the same password, or a slight variation of it, across more than one site. It isn't generating new passwords for you automatically when you sign up somewhere. You haven't turned on two-factor authentication for the vault itself. You've never checked whether it flags passwords that show up in known data breaches. And shared logins with family still get texted or written down instead of shared through the manager.
The catch
Even a well-built password manager doesn't help if the master password protecting it is weak, reused, or written on a sticky note — the vault is only as strong as the one password guarding all the others.
